Sharks are a victim of the media, which makes them out to be mindless killers. They are in fact not – there are less that 10 fatal shark "attacks" a year, compared to humans killing over 173,000,000 sharks a year.
There are plenty of shark conservation charities, but there is a lack of support from them due to the attitude of "why would I help an animal which would kill me on sight?".
This project aims to highlight the true nature of sharks, by counteracting the misconceptions created by the media, and explaining the reasons we need them in our oceans.
